DESCRIPTION
The parking lot is the beginning of Rogers Brook Trail. The trail offers an easy
walk that takes 30 minutes to complete. You start off by going over Rogers Brook.
Turning left after crossing will lead through the red maple floodplain where the brook
runs into the Mersey River. You will then enter into a Hemlock forest on slightly
higher ground. This walk may be flooded in the spring depending on the water levels.
Also, beware of poison ivy along the floodplain!
Kejimkujik is a National Park. Phone the park Visitor Centre at (902) 682-2772
for back-country maps, reservations (for regular and back-country sites),
information on park regulations, and any additional information.
Those intending to camp at a back-country site must first register at the park's
Visitor Centre.
