DESCRIPTION
This is a short trail mainly for campers who want to go for a walk in the park.
It starts as a wooden walk and heads into a narrow, rooty and wet trail surrounded
by softwoods, ferns, grass and moss. To the left, there is a farmer's field with
a barbed wire fence. Please stay out of private property.
At 100 metres, the rail becomes boggy, however, there is a wooden walk provided
to get past that. The rooty walk resumes after that. A few more wooden walks assist
the hiker along the way. There isn't too much other change on the path. Watch for
signs of deer. The trail ends in an open field.
In the park, there are washroom facilities as well as a playground, picnic areas
and a telephone at the entrance. The park goes along the Meander River, but no trails
take you that way.
