DESCRIPTION
This is a short trail up one side of MacIntosh Brook and down the other. The
forest types on each side of the valley differ. On one side you will find large
hardwoods sheltering ferns on the forest floor. The other side is mainly
softwood, a haven for the friendly red squirrel. The trail crosses a few bridges
and eventually leads you to a waterfall.
Within the park, there is a bookstore, washrooms, picnic areas, parking, camping
and pay phones. Near to the park are motels, other campgrounds, banks, gas
stations, restaurants and a general store.
