DESCRIPTION

The Trous de Saumon trail follows the Cheticamp River, a fly fisherman's haven.
There are a number of fishing pools along the way where you can either fish or
just enjoy the sights and sounds of the Cheticamp river valley who's steep sided
walls echo with the sound of white water during and after periods of heavy rain.
Remember to purchase a license before fishing in the park. Also, only tied flies
can be used.

Within the park, there is a bookstore, washrooms, picnic, parking, camping and
pay phones. Near to the park are motels, other campgrounds, banks, gas
stations, restaurants, a liquor store, and a general store.
