DESCRIPTION

This is a maintained 4.8 km trail on an old grave road along the river. The surrounding farm
land can be viewed while on the trail. After you come to the end of the road, you can turn
around and go back the way you came, or travel in a loop along the highway (the highway walk
can be dangerous). The Landing is a popular place for walkers, joggers, and bikers. Bird
watching is also popular as this is a Wildlife Management Area. Interpretive signs and
observation platforms are now in place along the trail. Aside from parking at Tony's Meats,
there are no facilities or water available for trail users. All necessities are available
in Antigonish. Watch out for the poison ivy!
