DESCRIPTION
This is a gentle walk along the rocky/sandy shore of the St. Georges Bay. It is
a popular area for bird watchers and rock collectors. The beach is host to poison
ivy and the endangered piping plover. At low tide you can take a walk along the
sandbars. The water is safe for swimming, but the beach is not supervised.
Please access it only from the beach in order to avoid going over public property.
You may also catch sight of a seal!
There is parking available at the beach, but no other facilities. A canteen can
be found on highway 337 at Cribbons Beach. Everything is located in nearby Antigonish.
